About the Sorolla Collection by APE Ceramica

The Sorolla collection by APE Ceramica was launched to mark the centenary of the death of Valencian painter Joaquín Sorolla, the master of Spanish luminism. The collection translates his immortal palette and brushwork into small-format ceramic, available in nine colorways including decorative Bouquet patterns and solid backgrounds. The tiles are designed to be mixed: pair the Bouquet decors with solid Whites, Silks, and the saturated colorways (Blue, Marine, Aqua, Green, Ocher, Cooper) for endlessly layered installations that read as authentic, hand-crafted Mediterranean tilework.

The 2.5″x10″ (6×24.6 cm) format gives designers freedom to specify straight-stack, 1/2 offset, herringbone, or vertical stack layouts on a single SKU. Recommended applications include kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls and showers, powder rooms, and accent or feature walls in residential and light commercial interiors. Because the Sorolla decors are designed to be mixed, lay out several cartons before setting to distribute color and pattern variation evenly across the wall.
