About the Conques Collection

The Conques collection is a heavyweight 12 mm glazed porcelain series from CLKer in the 40×60 cm format. The 12 mm body is CLKer’s exterior-grade construction, tested to EN ISO 10545-12 for frost resistance and rated for both floor and wall use. CLKer supplies this format designed to be grouted, so that once installed the 40×60 panel visually disappears and reads as a mosaic of smaller pieces — a 1.5 mm joint is recommended, with 50% clean water and 50% latex additive in the grout mix.

Installation & Applications for CLKer Conques Taxos Taupe 16×24

The 16″x24″ (40×60 cm) format at 12 mm is CLKer’s exterior-capable construction, which opens up patios, terraces, pool surrounds, walkways, facades and indoor-outdoor transitions in addition to interior floors. Grouting is not optional here: the tile is designed to be grouted so the panel format visually dissolves into a small-piece mosaic, and CLKer specifies a 1.5 mm joint with the grout mixed 50/50 clean water and latex additive. Movement joints should be planned every 16–32 m² (roughly 170–345 sq ft) plus a perimeter joint at walls and columns. Use a high-performance deformable C2S2 adhesive. For more on where this format performs best, see our guide to stone look porcelain.

Design & Coordination Tips for CLKer Conques Taxos Taupe 16×24

The CLKer Conques Taxos Taupe 16×24 is designed around the indoor-outdoor transition: run it from a kitchen or living floor straight through sliding doors onto a patio, and the 12 mm outdoor body reads identically on both sides of the glass. Outdoors, it pairs with warm grey rendered walls, dark bronze railings and timber decking. Because the grouted joints are what make the panel dissolve into a small-piece mosaic, choose grout colour deliberately — a mid grey or sand tone reads as authentic stone pointing, while a stark white or black joint will look busy over a large terrace.

Care & Maintenance

Glazed porcelain never needs sealing. Sweep or vacuum grit regularly and damp-mop with a pH-neutral tile cleaner; avoid acidic or bleach-based products, which attack grout rather than the tile. Grout can be sealed after curing to simplify cleaning in wet areas. Rated to Class 3 stain resistance and Class B chemical resistance under EN ISO 10545, the surface is safe with ordinary household cleaners and, for exterior installations, pool salts.
