About the Cosmopolitan Collection by Mirage

Part of the Cosmopolitan marble range within Mirage’s Jewels 2.0 collection, this tile is produced as fine porcelain stoneware in Italy, faithfully reproducing the depth, veining and movement of the world’s most sought-after marbles across a series of glossy marble effects. White Crystal (CP05) presents fine, delicate veining over a bright, reflective white field, giving each installation an authentic, high-end stone character with the practical performance of porcelain: average water absorption of just 0.04%, stain resistance and durability natural marble cannot match. Like all Mirage porcelain, it is LEED-compliant and backed by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).

Installation & Applications for Mirage Cosmopolitan White Crystal 24×48 Polished

The large-format 24″x48″ (60×120 cm) size minimizes grout lines and creates a clean, continuous marble aesthetic that reads as both modern and timeless. Recommended applications include bathroom walls, feature and accent walls, living areas, foyers, and dry interior floors in residential and light commercial interiors. Because this is a polished (R9) finish, it is best specified for walls and dry interior floors; for wet floor and shower-floor applications, pair with a matte or textured surface for appropriate slip resistance. Install with a suitable large-format thin-set on a properly prepared substrate, using a 1/8″ grout joint and back-buttering per TCNA large-format recommendations.
